Coming in a bottle with a red Kona cap and the Hawaiian islands on the bottle, it would be hard to get this one confused with another.
Kona's Island Lager defiantly spreads some of that liquid Aloha at 4.6% it is fairly average for a beer. But the flavor is far different than a normal beer.
It is a lighter beer making it great for summer and the warm weather. It has a nice familiar flavor that doesn't push the boundaries at all. But when something simple is working why change it?
It goes down smooth and has a slight hoppy after taste that is refreshing.
Conclusion: Its a one good beer that should be enjoyed this summer. Its going to be a staple in my beer fridge this summer.
Ranking: As it is the first beer for now it gets the honor of being #1 for now
